I’ve been hearing great things about the ArtStudio painting app for the iPhone and iPad for quite a while. In particular, our friend Corliss Blakely has been singing the app’s praises.
Corliss has also provided an excellent tutorial on using the app. She walks through her process and techniques from first starting point to a finished work, titled ‘Old Cupboard’. The tutorial offers both a slide show and a walk-through with screenshots and explanatory text.
I’m not an artist myself (far, far from it), but Corliss’ tutorial seems like a great introduction to this painting app. Give it a look here:
